Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli underlined on Sunday the importance of accelerating the progress rate of vital projects being carried out by the Tourism Ministry to be added to the tourism map of Egypt.
Madbouli referred to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s directives to develop areas surrounding archaeological projects.
Madbouli made the remarks during a meeting with Tourism Minister Ahmed Issa to follow up the progress rate of a number of projects carried out by the ministry.
Talks tackled at the progress rate of a number of restoration projects, including Greco-Roman Museum in Alexandria, Mohamed Ali Palace and Synagogue Ben Ezra.
The tourism minister expounded efforts to develop the tourism sector within the coming period to increase the number of tourists coming to Egypt.
