Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli sent a cable of greetings to Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Co-operation and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdel-Aati as well as to all Egyptian diplomats, on the occasion of Egyptian Diplomacy Day.
The Prime Minister noted that this year’s celebration of Egyptian Diplomacy Day marks not only the 200th anniversary of the establishment of Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, but also commemorates a long legacy built by successive generations of Egyptians who defended the nation’s causes and worked to build the modern Egyptian state to which all aspire.
Madbouli stressed that the history of the Foreign Ministry is an integral part of Egypt’s national history.
He added that the long-standing tradition of Egyptian diplomacy played a strong and influential role in the country’s history, with its diplomats consistently writing distinguished chapters through their work across various issues and assignments.
