CAIRO – The government is keen to create a favorable climate to lure further investments in the domains of petroleum and energy, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli said.
The premier’s remarks came Tuesday during a roundtable meeting on Egypt’s energy future at the cabinet’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital.
The meeting was attended by the ministers of electricity and renewable energy, environment, finance and petroleum and mineral resources and a host of officials of regional and global energy companies operating in Egypt, including Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC).
Madbouli said the government adopts a package of comprehensive reforms that are realistic, transparent and feasible to achieve such goal through offering many promising opportunities for companies operating in the field of energy in Egypt.
The roundtable meeting is important to review and share different visions on current and future energy-related issues and plans, he added.
