The government will place the directives issued by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi during the inauguration of the State Strategic Command Headquarters earlier this week at the forefront of its agenda, Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli said on Wednesday, pledging to translate them into concrete policies that support Egypt’s long-term development strategy.
Speaking at the weekly cabinet meeting, Madbouli said the government would work closely with ministries, state institutions and relevant authorities to implement the President’s directives, reinforcing efforts to advance political life, stimulate economic activity and accelerate development across all sectors.
Describing the inauguration of the State Strategic Command Headquarters as a landmark national achievement, the prime minister said the new complex embodies the vision of the New Republic and reflects Egypt’s commitment to harnessing cutting-edge science and technology to build an integrated command-and-control system capable of safeguarding national security in accordance with the highest international standards.
Madbouli noted that the complex is not only an advanced strategic command centre but also houses the Egyptian Military Academy, which he described as a flagship institution for preparing future leaders through a modern education and training system that equips national cadres with the knowledge, discipline, professionalism and leadership skills required to serve the state.
He praised President Sisi’s vision for modernising the Egyptian state, saying the new facility strengthens the country’s comprehensive capability to anticipate, manage and respond rapidly to a broad spectrum of crises through a unified and integrated command structure.
The prime minister also highlighted Sunday’s live demonstration of Egypt’s crisis and disaster management capabilities, held as part of the inauguration ceremonies, during which President Sisi observed a simulated emergency scenario showcasing the high level of coordination among ministries and state agencies in responding to potential crises.
“What we witnessed over the past two days sends a clear message to the world that Egypt is equipped with the most advanced scientific systems and technologies to confront a wide range of challenges,” Madbouli said, stressing the importance of continuous training to ensure that all personnel responsible for crisis management remain fully prepared to respond swiftly and effectively to any emergency.
