Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli has underscored the need to provide the necessary financing for supplying development projects with required electricity.
The premier’s remarks came a meeting held Saturday to follow up the power supply for a number of development projects in the presence of Electricity Minister Mohamed Shaker and Planning and Economic Development Minister Hala El Saeed and a host of respective officials.
The meeting reviewed the implementation progress of the New Delta and Light Rail Transit (LRT) projects, among others.
Madbouli noted that the current fiscal year’s budget includes a part of the necessary funding for these projects, while the remaining part will be covered by the budget of the next fiscal year.
