CAIRO – Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli reviewed efforts of the cabinet’s higher medical committee during the third quarter of 2024 via a report prepared by Medical Advisor to Prime Minister and Head of the Committee Hossam el-Masry.
Madbouli lauded the efforts of the committee to ease the suffering of cases who need medical care, asserting that the government is keen on standing on the complaints of the citizens according to the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
In the report, Masry pointed out to the effort of the committee during the third quarter of 2024 which included responding to 4,061 cases that were detected via Whatsapp, mass media and social media websites.
The committee issued 676 decisions for treatment at the expense of the state in addition to providing medical measures to 141 cases to be treated with Gamma Knife and CyberKnife, Masry said.
As many as 2,970 citizens were scanned as part of the medical convoys of the committee implemented in Ismailia.
