Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli said Monday that the government is exerting utmost efforts to solve problems facing investors.
A ministerial committee is looking into just settlements to all investment disputes, said Madbouli during a meeting with Justice Minister Omar Marwan.
All bodies concerned should immediately act to implement resolutions reached by the committee without any delay, the premier stressed. Those decisions are also endorsed by the Cabinet, he noted.
Marwan, for his part, reviewed committee resolutions that had already been implemented. He posted the prime minister on reasons why action is yet to be taken regarding other resolutions.
Accordingly, the premier ordered that the secretariat tasked with implementing the resolutions start acting under the Cabinet’s panel of advisors for expedited performance, said government spokesman Nader Saad.
Madbouli also directed all ministries, city halls and authorities concerned to quickly implement any resolutions issued by the committee and inform the secretariat within a maximum of two weeks, Saad added.
