CAIRO – Egyptian Prime Minister Dr Mostafa Madbouli stressed the need to provide various commodities and maintain a balance in prices on the local market to meet the needs of citizens as the holy month of Ramadan is round the corner.
During a meeting held to follow up efforts to provide commodities on the markets, Minister of Supply Dr Ali el Moselhi said his ministry constantly coordinates with the various ministries and bodies concerned in this respect.
The meeting, attended by a number of ministers and officials concerned, tackled organizing Ahlan Ramadan exhibitions on February 25-March 11 to offer commodities at suitable prices as part of the state’s efforts to limit the impact of inflation on the citizens, Cabinet Spokesman Mohamed el Hommosani said.
He added that Sejourne thanked his Egyptian counterpart on all assistance and facilities provided by Egypt to ensure the entry of French humanitarian aid to Gaza through Rafah border crossing.
