Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli stressed the importance of continued follow-up of projects being implemented within the framework of preparations for COP27 due to be held in Sharm el Sheikh later this year.
This comes in line with directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
Madbouli made the remarks while chairing a meeting attended by South Sinai Governor Khaled Fouda to review preparations for the COP27.
The talks tackled the establishment of two solar stations so that the city of Sharm el Sheikh will have four solar stations.
Fouda referred to the city’s eco-friendly transportation projects as well as preparations for providing fuel stations with charging points for electric cars.
Also, a central Sharm el Sheikh park will be set up in addition to a bedouin heritage village.
The talks also tackled the conditions of financially-strapped tourism projects.
