BRUSSELS – Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli asserted on Wednesday Egypt’s keenness on green transformation and expanding dependent on green and clean energy.
This came in his meeting with Luc Vandenbulcke, CEO of DEME Group, on the sidelines of Madbouli’s participation in the Global Gateway Forum organized by the European Commission on October 25-26.
The prime minister will participate in the event on behalf of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
During the meeting, he reviewed the government’s efforts to support investment in green hydrogen projects including establishing the green hydrogen national council.
The Global Gateway Forum is bringing together representatives of governments from the European Union and from around the world with the private sector, civil society, leading thinkers, financing institutions, and international organizations.
