Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli gave directives to the Ministry of Planning to secure EGP 350 million to swiftly develop shanty areas in Suez governorate.
Madbouli made the remarks on Sunday during a meeting with Suez Governor Abdel Meguid Saqr.
During the meeting, Saqr reviewed investment opportunities in the governorate, referring to the establishment of of Ahl Suez walkway, Nakhil walkway, Suez Sea View and parks.
He said these projects can achieve revenues that help to swiftly restore the spent funds.
The governor reviewed a number of promising investment assets in the governorate as well as offers for establishing a trade complex, entertainment area and housing compound.
The premier stressed the importance of such development projects in the governorate.
