Efforts by the ministries concerned are subject to daily follow-up in co-ordination with the relevant trade unions and chambers of commerce to ensure that basic goods and commodities are available to the public, the prime minister said on Wednesday.
Such efforts are made in order to soften the impact of the global economic crisis, the prime minister added during yesterday’s cabinet meeting.
Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli hailed the signing of several agreements and contracts between the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) and international companies to open headquarters for them in Egypt or boost investments by expanding activities at their branches here.
Madbouli also referred to the Egyptian-Jordanian summit to strengthen bilateral ties, the opening ceremonies by President Abdul Fatah El Sisi for the New Mansoura City and New Mansoura University.
