CAIRO – Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, accompanied by Tourism and Antiquities Minister Khaled el Anani, inspected on late Sunday Mohamed Ali Palace in Shubra Al-Khayma in Qalubiya governorate to check on its renovation work ahead of its reopening.
Madbouli was posted on the ongoing upgrades, especially the changes in the lighting system to show the beauty of the fascinating palace whose construction began by Muhammad Ali Pasha, the founder of modern Egypt, in 1808.
The premier listened to Anany’s explanation about the renovation works that started in 2017 and are 99.5% complete.
