BEIJING – Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli attended on Tuesday the signing ceremony of a framework agreement between the Cairo Airport Company and the China Gezhouba Group Corporation (CGGC) to develop Cairo Cargo City.
This came on the sidelines of his participation in the third edition of the Belt and Road Forum for International Co-operation, on behalf of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
The ceremony was attended by Civil Aviation Minister Mohamed Abbas Helmi and Song Hailiang, Chairman/Executive Director/Party Secretary at China Energy Engineering Corp Ltd.
Under the deal, the Cairo Airport Company will submit to the Chinese company a proposal for the engineering works, procurement, construction and financing to develop Cairo Cargo City.
