Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli on Monday attended, on behalf of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the annual conference of regional office representatives of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) on Monday.
The event was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Expatriates Affairs Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation Rania el Mashat, Secretary-General of the Arab League Ahmed Abul Gheit, along with a number of ministers and senior state officials.
Egypt is a strategic partner of the FAO, which has worked since its establishment to eradicate hunger, improve food quality, and support countries in building resilient food systems capable of adapting to climate change and economic challenges.
