NEW ALAMEIN – Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli asserted the State’s keenness on providing the attractive investment climate in all sectors, especially electricity, new and renewable energy, highlighting the state’s potentials and capabilities in this regard.

The premier’s remarks were made during a meeting held in New Alamein City with Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Mohamed Shaker to discuss a number of ministry files.

During the meeting, Shaker reviewed coordination efforts among the various bodies to lure more investments to the electricity sector and provide incentives to interested investors.

He reviewed a number of projects and proposed studies floated by a number of local and foreign companies for investment in electricity sector, in addition to the sector of new and renewable energy.

Shaker also briefed the premier on cooperation with a number of neighboring friendly countries to implement power grid projects.

The meeting also addressed efforts to provide energy to various development and service projects in strategic sectors, as well as improving available service through elevating the efficiency of various power distributors and infrastructure.
