Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli asserted the importance of maintaining efforts exerted to facilitate and stimulate investments, particularly in industrial zones.
The State is very interested in this vital sector in accordance with directives of the political leadership to take all necessary measures to boost investments in different industrial projects to provide sustainable work opportunities nationwide, added Madbouli at a meeting to review the tireless efforts exerted to promote investments in the country Monday.
A galaxy of ministers and senior state officials attended the meeting.
The premier said there are many proposals and requests made by several investors to increase the building percentage, up heights and expand lands of industrial developers.
All such suggestions are now studied by a permanent committee in the Industrial Development Authority in coordination with the bodies concerned, said IDA Chairman Mohamed Abdel Karim.
Madbouli ordered Abdel Karim to officially announce all regulations and conditions for construction and the set maximum heights in industrial zones.
In turn, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Assem el Gazar highlighted the constant efforts exerted by the New Urban Communities Authority to expand offering the lands of the industrial developers and remove obstacles to doing business in the industrial zones.
