CAIRO – Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli affirmed the strength of Egypt-US strategic ties in the various spheres.
During a meeting organised by the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt (AmCham Egypt) on Monday, Madbouli noted that the US is considered one of the most important trading partners for Egypt.
US investments in Egypt cover several avenues, including, inter alia, infrastructure and energy, Madbouli added during the meeting which was held within the framework of a visit by the GreenTech Business delegation to Egypt.
The US supports the private sector as well as efforts to promote the business environment in Egypt, he added.
Egypt seeks to spur its economic growth and increase its GDP, despite the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic and Russian-Ukraine conflict, he added.
