Student Moustafa Hussein Fathy Zaki, player of the military sports institution in Alexandria, won first place and the gold medal in the 67 kg weight competitions after his participation with the delegation of the Romanian wrestling national team in the World Junior Championship competitions under 20 years, in Jordan.
The competition included the participation of 1,200 players representing 63 countries from different continents of the world.
Zaki’s achievement contributed to Egypt’s advancement to the eighth place in the overall competitions of the championship.
The General Command of the Armed Forces congratulated the player for achieving this achievement, which is added to the Egyptian sports records, stressing its keenness to provide all aspects of support to its distinguished students in the military sports institutions, so that they become role models for future generations.
This achievement comes within the framework of the Armed Forces’ keenness to continue its role in creating the appropriate environment for preparing and qualifying sports cadres from the best students in the military sports institutions to raise the Egyptian flag in various Olympic and international sports forums.
