CAIRO – Minister of Trade and Industry Ahmed Samir and Minister of Planning and Economic Development Hala El Said reviewed during a meeting Friday with CEO of the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC) Hani Sonbol the Corporations’ projects in Egypt, along with future ventures with the Egyptian government.
In statements Friday the minister of planning said the ITFC is a leading development partner to Egypt, pointing out that all its floated ventures help support trade, industry, small and medium-sized enterprises and women empowerment plans.
All drives are meant to further promote trade cooperation among Arab and African countries, she added.
ElSaid also highlighted the importance of maximizing benefit from the ITFC’s funding programs in localizing the nuts and bolts of the Egyptian industry, especially in green and food security projects.
For his part, the minister of trade and industry lauded cooperation between the ministry and the ITFC ‘s Arab-Africa Trade Bridges (AATB) Program in Egypt.
Meantime, the CEO of the ITFC affirmed the organization’s keenness on boosting cooperation with Egypt, especially in the trade and women empowerment domains, along with enhancing Arab-African trade cooperation.
