The assistant interior minister for administrative affairs and head of the Egyptian Hajj mission said preparations have been completed at the tents of lottery pilgrims in the holy areas of Mina and Mount Arafat.
The assistant interior minister told MENA on Thursday that Interior Minister Mahmoud Tawfiq has directed to be on alert to serve pilgrims to perform all rites easily.
The electronic check-in system has been applied for the first time in the tents with air-conditioned units to ensure that all pilgrims have access to their housing units and overcome difficulties resulting from high temperature, the assistant interior minister added.
