Final preparations for the Egypt Petroleum Show (EGYPS) 2023 themed ‘North Africa and the Mediterranean: Supporting Sustainable Global Energy Supply and Demand’ are underway.
Egypt will be hosting this event, the largest of its kind in the region, on 13-15 February 2023.
EGYPS is being held under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and with the support of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources.
The event will attract senior officials from international energy companies and more than 32,000 visitors.
More than 260 speakers will address the sustainable climate-conscious production of oil and gas, energy transition and decarbonisation, and action to deliver a net-zero future.
Fifty new companies and 50 affiliates to the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources will be represented at the event, along with more than 500 exhibitors, including 28 national and international oil, energy and service companies which include Apache, BP, Cheiron, Chevron, Enppi, Kuwait Energy, Dragon Oil, ExxonMobil, the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC), the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS), Petrojet, South Valley Egyptian Petroleum Holding Company (Ganope), Schneider Electric and TotalEnergies.
The sixth edition will feature 13 international pavilions hosting world-class companies and products from leading energy countries, including Canada, China, Cyprus, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Scotland, Spain, Turkey, UAE, UK and US.
EGYPS 2023 will outline the potentials and challenges to ensure energy security and leverage on the outcomes of the Eastern Mediterranean Gas Forum (EMGF).
The event will feature two award ceremonies for outstanding talent and impactful projects — Global Equality in Energy Awards and Sustainability in Energy Awards.
