CAIRO – The Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources said that the pipelines of the Arab Petroleum Pipelines Company (SUMED) have now risen to 117 million tons annually.
The company’s pipelines extend 320 kilometres from the Ain Sukhna terminal on the Gulf of Suez to the offshore Sidi Kerir, Alexandria on the Mediterranean Sea.
In a statement on Wednesday, the ministry added Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawy inspected today facilitations of SUMED’s company in Ain Sukhna port and the main control unit in the harbor.
The minister asserted the visit is part of the government’s action program to cease the load-shedding plan.
