Badawy and Brusco also talked about ways to upgrade Eni’s oil fields in the East Mediterranean, according to a statement by the Petroleum Ministry.
Figuring high in the meeting was also cooperation between Eni and the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Co. (EGAS) in the Damietta liquefaction plant project, the statement added.
Badawy posted Brusco on a new package of incentives introduced by his Ministry to help boost production of crude oil and natural gas. Eni should benefit from this package, the minister advised.
