Egypt’s Petroleum Minister Tarek el Moulla will participate in the International Minerals Forum and Exhibition held in Riyadh on January 10-11.
The forum takes place under the theme, ‘Creating Resilient and Responsible Mineral Value Chains in Africa, Western and Central Asia’.
The Forum recognizes that global demand for minerals and metals will grow in the coming years and decades, countries will seek to secure critical mineral supplies, host countries and communities will want a fair share of the benefits from their resources, and new sources of supply will need to be found.
Within this context, the Forum is a platform to bring together countries and private sector partners to discuss the creation of resilient mineral value chains in Africa and Western and Central Asia.
The Forum is taking place under the patronage of the King of Saudi Arabia, Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Sponsors include Saudi Arabia’s ministries and many other partners.
