Egypt’s Petroleum Minister Tarek Al Molla said on Monday that luring more investments to the Golden Triangle Economic Zone is a priority for the political leadership and government.
Presiding over a workshop to discuss investment opportunities in the Golden Triangle Economic Zone, Molla pointed to presidential directives to develop the triangle by enhancing its infrastructure to maximize the use of its mineral resources to be an added value to Egypt’s economy.
The minister asserted the importance of welcoming all feasible and executable ideas and agreeing on a road map to develop the triangle with paying attention to upgrading the cadres’ skills there.
He also pointed to the importance of the Environment Ministry’s participation in the development project in light of the key role of environmental compatibility regarding luring investments.
