Egypt’s Petroleum Minister Tarek el Molla has asserted the importance of strategic partnership with the Italian institutions and companies in the different domains that contributed to achieving success for both sides, adding that cooperation of the petroleum sector with the Italian company of Eni is an example of successful partnerships in the field of petroleum and gas.
This came on Tuesday during Molla’s meeting with a delegation of Polytechnic University of Milan to discuss the plans of the Italian university to cooperate with the Egyptian universities in the fields of scientific and practical training especially in the specializations of oil, gas, technologies of power efficiency, reducing emissions, renewable energy and industry.
He pointed out to the importance of the agreement of the practical training with the theoretical studies to prepare a generation ready to face the successive changes in the industry of petroleum, gas, energy transformation and sustainability of supplies in accordance with the needs of the local work market.
Meanwhile, Head of the delegation Emanuela Colombo said that the university has several proposed projects and training programs for scientific cooperation with the Egyptian universities in the fields of oil industry and renewable energy for the engineers and technicians in the universities of Ain Shams, Port Said and Suez.
She pointed out to the measures of the Italian university to study and discuss the needs of the work market in Egypt.
