Egyptian Deputy Minister of Planning and Economic Development Ahmed Kamali underlined on Sunday the importance of the participation of both the private sector and the civil society in attaining the sustainable development goals (SDGs).
Kamali’s remarks came during his meeting to follow up on the implementation of SDGs, in the presence of a host of senior officials.
During the meeting, Kamal also reviewed the latest developments in the SDGs file in Egypt over the past period.
The meeting also tackled a host of issues related to Egypt’s Vision 2030, the localization and financing of the SDGs, in addition to the report of the national consultations on the implementation of Africa’s Agenda 2063.
