The parliament under Hanafi el Gebali approved a draft law presented by the government to amend some of the regulation of law of combating money laundering no. 80 issued in 2002.
This came on Tuesday at the parliament’s session and the total articles of the law were approved in a former session and referred to the State Council.
The state is working on abiding by the international standards to join Financial Action Task Force (FATF).
