EgyptAir Hospital is a great addition to the health system across the country, with its international accreditation capabilities.
Minister of Civil Aviation Lieutenant General Mohamed Abbas Helmy, Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar and Minister of Higher Education Ayman Ashour have witnessed the opening of the first scientific conference of EgyptAir Hospital. The conference was held to mark the 40th anniversary of the hospital’s establishment, in the presence of Eng. Yehia Zakaria, Chairman of the EgyptAir Holding Company, President of Ain Shams University Dr Mahmoud el-Metini, and Board Chairman of EgyptAir for Medical Services Dr Ayman Salah, alongside a galaxy of senior specialists and consultants in all specialties.
The conference, the first to be held by EgyptAir Hospital, came within the framework of scientific research developments in various medical fields. It was held in co-operation with the Ministry of Health and Population and the Ministry of Higher Education.
Minister Abbas thanked all the workers and medical staff at EgyptAir Hospital for their great efforts to provide health care to all patients with the utmost sincerity, dedication and sacrifice. He stressed that this great medical edifice provides health and therapeutic services to all workers in the aviation sector as well as patients from outside the sector.
Minister Abbas said that the Ministry of Civil Aviation adopts an ambitious vision to provide the best quality of services to its customers and is interested in raising the efficiency of the human resources through training and qualifying them as per the highest global levels in various fields and specializations.
He said that EgyptAir is keen to apply the highest international standards in all work sites, as it always seeks to obtain many international accreditations and certificates in accordance with the latest universal standards.
For his part, the minister of health praised EgyptAir Hospital for its international capabilities and accreditations, which placed it in the highest ranks of distinguished hospitals.
He also commended the quality of health and treatment services provided to patients, which made it a great addition to the health system in Egypt.
Minister Abdel Ghaffar stressed that co-operation and coordination between various sectors in the country are the basis for supporting the implementation of the comprehensive health insurance system, appreciating the efforts made by the EgyptAir Hospital in the medical tourism file.
Minister of Higher Education Ayman Ashour voiced his happiness to attend the celebration of the 40th anniversary of founding EgyptAir Hospital, appreciating the effective role played by the hospital during the coronavirus pandemic.
He emphasized that the conference is a breakthrough for acquiring skills and knowledge in light of global developments and technological contributions. Ashour said that higher education and scientific research is one of the most important pillars for achieving the health strategy. He also praised the role of EgyptAir Hospital to support the medical sector nationwide as an essential part of the health system.
Board Chairman of EgyptAir Medical Services Company, Ayman Salah, referred to the legacy of EgyptAir Hospital, which extended over four decades.
He said that the hospital always seeks to harness all its capabilities to provide high-level health services in line with fulfilling EgyptAir Hospital’s future vision to provide integrated and comprehensive health care at the highest international standards.
President of Ain Shams University Dr Mahmoud el-Metini spoke about the medical and professional history of EgyptAir Hospital over the past 40 years. El-Metini went on to say that the hospital has witnessed development and modernization in the infrastructure as well as the upgrade of medical services provided to patients.
He stressed the hospital’s supremacy in the medical and professional expertise.
