By end 2022, some 2.3 million students were in full-time education in the country’s 92 universities.

In 2014, about 1.9 million students were attended Egypt’s 50 universities.
Every governorate has a public university and private university, the minister said, adding that students are being helped to obtain qualifications relevant to the requirements of today’s labour markets.
