CAIRO – The number of food consignments exported reached 3,660 to 1,444 exporting companies from October 12 until October 18, with a total quantity of 174,000, said the National Food Safety Authority (NFSA).
In its weekly report, the NFSA said that Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, and Yemen represented the largest countries receiving Egyptian exports during the past week, out of a total of 170 importing countries.
Safaga Port ranked first in the number of food consignments exported from it with a total of 615 consignments, followed by Alexandria Port with 600 consignments, then Cairo Airport Port with a total of 390 consignments, while the number of food consignments received reached 2,520 consignments, amounting to about 573,000 tons, it added.
