Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhi in Egypt discussed with Abdel Sadek el-Shorbagy, Chairman of the National Press Authority (NPA), ways to boost joint co-operation.
During the meeting, Sobhi congratulated el-Shorbagy and the Authority’s members on their roles and wished them success. The two sides discussed plans to enhance co-operation, particularly in providing youth centre libraries with books and publications to educate young people on national issues.They also addressed ways to increase the impact of youth centres, sports clubs, and affiliated bodies in running awareness programmes to counter rumors and challenges facing Egypt.
For his part, el-Shorbagy praised the Ministry’s efforts in supporting youth and sports sectors and highlighted its role in offering valuable programmes for Egyptian youth. A joint co-operation protocol is expected to be signed soon to formalise these initiatives.
