CAIRO – Egyptian Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Organisation for Military Production (NOMP) Mohamed Salaheldin Moustafa discussed with Czech Deputy Minister of Foreign Affaires Martin Tlapa and Czech Ambassador in Cairo Jan Fulík boosting bilateral co-operation.
During their meeting on Tuesday at the Organisation’s headquarters, the two sides stressed the importance of promoting strategic partnership in the various domains.
The Military Production Ministry said in a press release on Tuesday that the two sides discussed co-operation between the military production companies in both countries.
Also, an invitation was extended to the Czech companies to attend Egypt’s Defense Expo (EDEX 2021), which will kick off on November 29 and last until December 2.
During the meeting, the Czech deputy foreign minister lauded Egypt’s efforts to maintain stability in the country and its economic reform measures to lure more foreign investments.
Tlapa noted that several Czech companies are interested in strengthening co-operation with Egyptian companies, topped by companies affiliated to the Military Production Ministry.
For his part, the Czech ambassador in Cairo stressed the importance of the Military Production Ministry’s role in shoring up investments in Egypt, underlining that the current investment climate is stable.
Egypt is one of the most promising and attractive markets in the world, amb. Fulík said.
