No criminal suspicion behind Ayman Hadhoud’s death – Public Prosecution

The death of citizen Ayman Hadhoud is not criminally suspicious, investigations conducted by the Public Prosecution revealed.

In a statement, the Public Prosecution revealed all circumstances related to Hadhoud’s death, saying that the investigations confirmed that there was no criminal suspicion behind the death incident.

After ordering an autopsy to determine the cause of death, no injuries to the deceased body have been found, said the statement.

The statement further said that two of Hadhoud’s brothers admitted the unstable psychological state of their deceased brother.

The statement also pointed out to the report of the three-way medical committee, which was previously formed to stand on the psychological state of Hadhoud.

Earlier on February 6, the Public Prosecution said that it received a report from a building guard in the Zamalek area about Hadhoud’s presence inside the building and attempting to break the door of one of the apartments and committing irresponsible behavior.

The Police, in turn, arrested Hadhoud and referred him to the Prosecution, which tried to investigate him over the theft charge. Hadhoud, however, failed to respond to the investigations due to uttering incomprehensible words.

Based on the Public Prosecution decision, Hadhoud was referred to a psychiatric hospital after doubting his sanity.

The Public Prosecution also said that it was notified on March 5 about the death of Hadhoud at Abbasiya Mental Health Hospital due to a sharp drop of blood circulation and cardiac arrest.
