CAIRO- The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) in Old Cairo’s Fustat district hosted the Egyptian-Omani Press Forum on the well-established ties binding both countries and their promising potential.
Addressing a dialogue session on the prospects of economic and investment opportunities, held as part of the three-day forum, NMEC Executive Director Ahmed Ghoneim hailed the deeply rooted ties between the sisterly Arab countries, especially at the economic level.
A photography exhibition was held on margins of the forum, shedding light on various scenes of the Omani life, including its cultural and natural wealth.
Omani Ambassador in Cairo Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Rahbi, former foreign minister and secretary-general of the Arab League Amr Mousa, and head of the Egyptian Journalists Syndicate Khaled el-Balshy participated in the forum, along with a great host of journalists, intellectuals, writers, and artists from both countries.
