CAIRO – Chairman of the National Media Authority (NMA) Ahmed El-Musalamani announced a comprehensive development plan for the public Egyptian television channel Nile TV, including its rebranding as Egypt News Network (ENN).
Musalamani made the announcement during a meeting with the staff of Nile International Channel, aimed at discussing the channel’s development and the activation of its new brand identity.
He explained that the channel’s development will coincide with the launch of targeted radio services in 23 languages, as part of a strategic plan to extend the international reach of Egyptian television and its platforms in 100 languages.
The chairman emphasized that the initiative aligns with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s vision to project Egypt’s media presence internationally and strengthen the country’s role as a soft power.
