Egypt’s Minister of Education and Technical Education Reda Hegazi on Sunday opened a new Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) School in Luxor.
Students can enroll for academic year 2023/2024, the minister said.
The STEM school system supports higher-order thinking skills in science, mathematics and technology, the minister added.
The minister was briefed on the school’s accommodation facilities and he also inspected some classrooms and laboratories.
Hegazi hailed the school’s capabilities, saying that his ministry is keen to support STEM schools and help students to attain their goals.
