Abdel Raouf Allam, head of the new Supreme Council of Trustees, Parents and Teachers, praised the goals of the new education system adopted by Minister of Education Tarek Shawki, stressing that the curricula in the new system are comparable to the curricula applied in international schools.
He added that the new examination system, once completed, will have great results on the development of the educational process.
He explained that the new examination system aims to develop examination systems that are able to measure learning outcomes away from exams that were intended to measure only what the student has memorized.
Allam also announced that the boards of trustees nationwide are the legitimate representative of parents and that the council has developed an ambitious plan to work during the coming period to achieve the hopes and aspirations of students and their parents.
He added that the plan also aims to open channels of communication with parents in all places to build real partnerships between the executive leaders in the Ministry of Education and parents, open channels of communication to solve problems, and put the interests of students above all else.
Allam indicated that this plan comes as the new year is approaching and in light of the developmental launch that the new republic is achieving under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the Supreme Council of Trustees, Parents and Teachers confirms that 2022 will witness major changes in the work strategy of the Council, boards of trustees, parents and teachers at the level of directorates and departments educational and schools.
Allam said that the Ministry of Education alone will not be able to achieve the desired goals in the development of education, and that the matter requires full societal solidarity for the success of the new system.
Allam added that the new vision of the Supreme Council of Trustees, Parents and Teachers, after its restructuring, is based primarily on providing the necessary support to improve the education system, finding radical solutions to the problems faced by students and opening channels of communication with parents nationwide and identifying their complaints.
He called on the President of the Council interested in educational affairs, parents and all segments of society to unite in order to maximize the benefit from the positives and develop the necessary solutions to avoid the negatives.
