CAIRO – Cairo University President Mohamed El Khosht and Head of the National Council for Human Rights (NCHR) Moshira Khattab have signed a co-operation protocol on spreading human rights culture among university students.
The protocol, signed on Thursday, aims to contribute to implementing the national strategy of human rights and raising awareness about the respect of human rights.
The protocol includes holding symposiums and workshops to raise awareness on human rights among youth, in addition to exchanging field visits and benefiting from experts from both sides.
El Khosht underlined the need to enforce the national strategy of human rights under the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
For her part, Khattab underscored the importance of the protocol to raise awareness about human rights among university students.
