The Egyptian Navy received a delegation of imams and preachers who are attending an educational programme for imams nationwide.
The programme has been organised by the Ministry of Endowments.
The delegation was shown a presentation on the origins and development of the navy and their role in national defence. There followed a tour of Alexandria Naval Base.
Minister of Endowments Mohamed Moukhtar Gomaa voiced hos appreciation of the Armed Forces.
The minister spoke of the importance of enhancing awareness among imams, preachers, and the generality of Egyptian society of the national role played by the Armed Forces.
The Naval commander-in-chief affirmed the continuous support provided by the General Command of the Armed Forces to enhance the capabilities of the Naval Forces so that they can carry out the tasks entrusted to them with all efficiency and competence, expressing his happiness at the visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Endowments and praising their role in spreading moderation, moderation, and the principles of the true religion within Egyptian society.
