CAIRO – A joint report issued by Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia asserted that Egypt is a strategic partner to NATO for peace, security and stability in the region since 1994 as part of the Mediterranean Dialogue.
A forum was formed including the partnership of seven non-member states of NATO, including Egypt, and it has become the hosting country.
The forum aims at contributing to achieving security and stability in the region, according to a statement issued by the Romanian embassy in Cairo on Thursday.
Those countries will hold a ceremony on Sunday on the occasion of the passage of 20 years of joining NATO in March 29 in 2004.
