The Ministry of Education announced on Tuesday that all schools across Egypt will close on Wednesday and Thursday because of unstable weather conditions.
Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif confirmed the holiday applies to students, teachers, and staff. The move is meant to protect students from risks linked to severe weather and ensure equal treatment for schools nationwide.
The ministry stressed that safety and fairness are priorities while the country manages the impact of the expected weather.
