Participants in the unions and civil work committee in the Egyptian national dialogue asserted the importance of the role of civil work for the most needy segments in society.
This came in the discussion session for the committee under the political track in the national dialogue Sunday.
The session was allocated to discuss civil work in Egypt and the law regulating it and ways of removing any obstacles to it.
Secretary of the Workers Secretariat in the Homeland Defenders Party Mohamed Hadad said NGOs are playing an important and crucial role in the country, particularly for the most vulnerable brackets, but we need to expand developmental work to help citizens and build human being away from delivery of assistance.
The National Alliance for Civil Development Work has made a quantum leap and played a pivotal role in promoting civil work in the country, he added.
