General Coordinator of the National Dialogue, Diaa Rashwan, said that the Board of Trustees of the Dialogue has approved the agenda for this week’s sessions, after consulting with the general rapporteurs and assistant rapporteurs of the three axes of the dialogue (political, economic, social).
The National Dialogue is set to hold two sessions on Sunday on political parties and discussing amendments on local councils’ law.
On Tuesday, Discussions will focus on means to promote local industry, as well as ways to expand domestic and foreign investments.
On Thursday, participants in the National Dialogue will delve into a number of pressing social topics, including means to upgrade pre-university education, in addition to drawing up comprehensive strategies to curb the overpopulation due to its negative impacts on development and progress.
The Nation Dialogue holds two sessions on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The long-awaited National Dialogue kicked off on May 3 with several political forces, civil society groups, professional and labour unions, and public figures participating to discuss key political, economic, and social issues.
