A delegation from the Nasser Military Academy has inspected the Integrated Operations Centre of EgyptAir (IOCC), which is responsible for managing and monitoring the operations of Egypt’s domestic and international flights.
Chairman of EgyptAir Amr Abul Enein welcomed the visit of the delegation. The Director-General of the Integrated Operations Centre pilot Mahmoud Saqr and Deputy Director General of the centre pilot Tamer el-Qadey received the delegation.
The delegation has listened to an explanation from pilot Saqr about the potential of the IOCC as well as about the Crisis Management Room and the highly qualified human elements in terms of acting quickly and dealing with an emergency civil aviation crisis.
For his part, the delegation congratulated EgyptAir for its universal recognition of the ability and professionalism of their pilots, especially in times of crisis, after the Heathrow International Airport incident in London.
At the conclusion of the visit, the Head of Delegation Major General Hossam Anwar, Chancellor of the Nasser High Military Academy presented the National Defence College Shield on behalf of the Director of the National Defence College in recognition of the active and distinguished role played by the company.
