Delegations participating in the Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership toured on Sunday Alexandria.
It came in the framework of introducing the participants to the Egyptian civilization and famous monuments.
The third edition of Naserr fellowship, held under the slogan of “South Cooperation, South and Youth of the Non-Aligned Movement”, put some 150 participants together with the aim of enriching them the leadership principles.
“It’s evident that Egypt preserves it heritage and historical sites together with its developmental mega projects,” Tanzania’s Peter Hongole told The Egyptian Gazette.
Alexandria attracted me so much with its amazing weather and nice monuments.
They first visited Qaitbay Citadel, one of the most important castles on the Mediterranean Sea, learning more about that era of Egypt.
In addition, they went to Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a beacon of science and a symbol of culture at the regional and global levels, where they learned about its history that expresses all cultures. making it one of the most important icons of science and culture.
Their day ended up with a visit to the Coptic Cathedral in Alexandria, knowing more about its role in Egypt’s modern and ancient history.
