CAIRO – The National Alliance For Civil Development Work (NACWD) launched the 24th phase of its medical convoys in a village in Beni Suef with the participation of 19 of the alliance’s affiliate bodies. This phase will target more than 30,000 beneficiaries.
NACWD’s convoys, titled “Siter We Afia” or |”Protection and Wellness”, comes upon directives from President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to support the most vulnerable categories of the society. It is part of the NACWD efforts to offer services to the most deserving and vulnerable groups across the nation.
The convoy offered physiotherapy, dentistry, veterinary medicine and nursing. Detected diseases were treated free of charge. Critical cases were referred to the Cairo University hospitals.
The alliance was launched in March 2022 with the participation of members of key development and civil work associations in Egypt to serve social development work.
