Talaat Abdel Qawi, a member of the National Alliance for Civil Development Work (NACDW), expressed deep thanks to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s unprecedented achievements under the Decent Life initiative.

During a phone call with Extra News channel on Tuesday, Abdel Qawi said the initiative is the project of the century which targeted supporting 58 million citizens, 22 governorates and 4600 villages with an aim to improve people’s living conditions.

He said the first stage of the initiative included about 1,600 villages at EGP 350 billion cost, especially in the sanitation sector whose coverage reached 43 per cent against 12 per cent in the past.

He underlined Sisi’s keenness on realizing development and achieving decent life for all Egyptians despite the security challenges and fight against terrorism.

He added that Sisi started 2024 with announcing channeling 100 million pounds for promoting the rights of elderly people.

He expected the second stage of the Decent Life initiative to realise more achievements.
