The National Alliance for Civil Development Work in Egypt (NACDW) launched a national initiative for educational equality in Sharqiya governorate in line with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to ensure equal educational opportunities.
In a statement on Thursday, the alliance said the initiative is launched in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Solidarity, Orman Foundation and Zagazig University.
The alliance noted that 89 laptops will be handed over to those suffering from visual impairment.
The initiative underlines the key role of non-governmental organisations in alleviating the burdens of needy people.
